Micayla Maiorino graduated with honours from Queen’s University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Nursing Degree. She began her career working in pediatric oncology and dialysis at CHEO. In 2021, Micayla took the Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler course which led to the opening of Illuminate Medical Aesthetics. Micayla has since obtained regular training and education to further develop her skills and experience in advanced aesthetic medicine. Most notably, she has attended the Swift Beauty Masterclass with Dr. Arthur Swift (Montreal), facial anatomy and lip injection course with Dr. Sebastian Cotofana and Julie Horne (Toronto). Micayla specializes in the use of neurotoxins, dermal fillers and biostimulators for natural and youthful results. She also specializes in lip augmentation, providing structure, definition and hydration that is unique to each individual. Micayla is the head nurse at Illuminate Medical Aesthetics.
